Tough Decisions

Last school year, I faced a difficult problem. A decision that I needed to make before school. I had to choose one elective class from many I wanted to be in. My top choices were: French, MUN, Art, and Band. I had a special and different reason for each one. But to choose one on top of all of the others was a problem.

I started asking suggestions, advise, and experiences from students and teachers that were taking, had taken or were teaching those courses. After I had all my questions and doubts answered and had a general idea of what each class was about, I decided to talk this with my parents.

We talked about what course would be most efficient, necessary, helpful, and enjoyable for me. we also discussed my strengths, weaknesses, and what had caught my attention the most. Something that I really wanted was to learn French. I've wanted to learn French ever since I was in fifth grade. So basically, that's the main reason why, in the end, I chose the French One course this year.
